Cleveland museum of art
Given a daylit photo of Cleveland Museum of Art's event space, I proposed a schematic lighting design, illustrated in photoshop and presented in layers of light,.

Fixture Design
Collaborating with two other lighting students, I designed a table or desk top fixture where the user controls the ambient-to-direct light ratio. This was done with by using uneven light distribution and lazy susan hardware. It resulted in the perfect desk-top "light buddy!" To read a technical description of this fixture, check out my technical writing portfolio!

Nittany Lights
Every other year the Penn State Student and Harrisburg IES Chapters get together for a hands-on exterior lighting experience. Each team lights a part of campus with donated fixtures. My team chose an Alice in Wonderland theme outside of the President's House.

CONCEPTUAL DESIGN
Please look through my conceptual design presentation for The Howard Brandston Student Lighting Design Education Grant for an example as to how I break down and analyze architecture in terms of lighting.
