HALEY BENDIS // TECHNICAL WRITING

SELECTED WORK
The following examples of Haley's written work were completed in Spring 2017, during the time she was enrolled in English 202C (Technical Writing).

Haley compiled an internet resource guide for new lighting designers. It serves as an excellent reference for getting involved in the industry and starting projects.

When asked to write a technical description, Haley chose to detail a light fixture that she had previously designed. This was a great exercise describing light to an audience that is less familiar with the behavior of light. To see more details about the original fixture design, please see Haley's design portfolio.

Haley's senior thesis report reflects her individual capstone project in the form of a formal report. Much of what was was taught in English 202C helped strengthen her work. For background information about this report, see Haley's thesis portfolio.

As a class final report, Haley wrote about the color rendering metric TM-30. The report details TM-30 in a simplified way that will help Haley as she enters the lighting industry.
