At my time at Penn State, I have spent four semesters in architecture studios. This has given me lot of hands-on design experience.  My first year of studio was dedicated to experimenting with architectural design and learning functional building use.  My second year of studio was really fun because many of my classes, such as daylighting, could be directly incorporated into the architectural design.  This was more heavily studied during Penn State's Colab Studio, where teams consist of students from each engineering discipline as well as an architecture student.
