REFLECTION

A Note From Haley

Taking technical writing as a course at Penn State was a fun way to finish my time at university.  I have always enjoyed writing, whether analytical or personal.  Over the past five years I have been involved in classes that communicate through visuals or calculations.  Unfortunately, this caused my writing skills to fall out of practice.  Through activities such as a cover letter, technical description, and instructions, I was able to revisit what I knew  and enjoy factors of writing such as word choice and sentence structure.  I know I will continue to write post-graduation for personal satisfaction.  This will benefit me professionally as I write e-mails, specifications, and project descriptions.
